FiveZero Safaris does it’s best to offer you the best photographic opportunities and game viewing possible but cannot guarantee any wildlife sightings as nature is unpredictable.

Our Suggested Itinerary is only a guideline; as the daily itinerary is weather-dependent and sightings- dependent, it could vary slightly.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

A 40% non-refundable deposit secures your booking. Final payment is due 90 days before the safari begins. If the safari is booked within 90 days of the departure date, full payment will be required up front.

Health & Medical Advice

It is advised that you consult your local doctor with regards to any medication and/or vaccinations required prior to traveling. We recommend that you seek medical advice as early as possible prior to the trip as some vaccinations for certain regions may need to be taken a few months in advance.

Some of our safaris involve a lot of very bumpy driving on unpaved roads or off-road, which may not be suitable for people with certain pre-existing medical conditions. If you think you are affected please seek medical advice before coming on safari.

Passports & Visas

It is advised to have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date, together with onward travel documents, proof of accommodation and sufficient funds for the duration of your stay. In addition, each country you may be visiting generally requires at least 2 consecutive/side by side blank pages on entry for both visas and stamps. Should your itinerary include more than one country, excluding the country of departure and return, a sufficient number of blank visa pages (not endorsement pages) in your passport is required. Should there be insufficient blank pages in your passport then entry into or exit from a country could be denied.

Citizens of some countries may require visas to travel, so we recommend checking well in advance whether you need a visa for this trip. Any applicable visas, costs and/or relevant documentation are the responsibility of the guest. Guests must ensure they have all necessary visas prior to departure from their home country (unless these can be obtained on arrival) as FiveZero Safaris cannot be held liable should entry be denied.

Travel insurance

Please ensure that you have sufficient travel insurance cover for this trip before you travel. This cover should include adequate cancellation insurance to the value of your holiday and cover for the activities you will be doing. Please always remember to take a copy of your travel insurance policy with you.
